Shape coexistence in Sr isotopes

چکیده

Background: Sr isotopes are located in the mass region $A\ensuremath{\approx}100$, where a very quick onset of nuclear deformation exists; other notable examples this area Yb, Zr, and Nb nuclei. The presence proton subshell closure $Z=40$ allows existence particle-hole excitations that produce low-lying intruder bands.Purpose: goal work is study structure even-even $^{92\text{--}102}\mathrm{Sr}$ through accurate description excitation energies, $B(E2)$ transition rates, radii, two-neutron separation energies.Method: interacting boson model with configuration mixing will be framework to calculate all observables isotopes. Only two types configurations considered, namely, 0-particle--0-hole 2-particle--2-hole excitations. parameters determined using least-squares procedure for energies rates. Results: For whole chain isotopes, value $B(E2)$'s, isotope shifts have been obtained, good agreement between theory experiment. Also, detailed analysis wave functions performed and, finally, mean-field energy surfaces deformation, $\ensuremath{\beta}$, obtained. Conclusions: states has confirmed its connection clarified. lightest present spherical while heaviest ones clearly deformed. rapid at neutron number 60 due crossing regular moreover, both families an increase number.

Triaxiality and shape coexistence in Germanium isotopes

The ground-state deformations of the Ge isotopes are investigated in the framework of GognyHartree-Fock-Bogoliubov (HFB) and Skyrme Hartree-Fock plus pairing in the BCS approximation. Three different Skyrme parametrizations are used to explore the influence of different effective masses and spin-orbit models. There is generally good agreement for binding energies and deformations (total quadrup...

Shape mixing and β-decay properties of neutron-deficient Kr and Sr isotopes

Gamow-Teller strength distributions and β-decay half-lives in neutron-deficient Kr and Sr isotopes are investigated within a deformed quasiparticle random phase approximation. The approach is based on a self-consistent Skyrme Hartree-Fock mean field with pairing correlations and residual separable particle-hole and particle-particle forces. A simple two-level model is used to mix the nuclear sh...

EUROPEAN ORGANIZATION FOR NUCLEAR RESEARCH CERN-EP/98-183 16 November 1998 SHAPE COEXISTENCE IN THE LIGHT PO ISOTOPES

The systematics of the even light Po isotopes (N 126) are studied in the framework of the Particle-Core Model. The strong perturbation of the systematics in the very light isotopes is interpreted as arising from the interaction between regular and intruder structures. Results of Potential Energy Surface (PES) calculations and predictions of the Pairing Vibration Model support this interpretatio...
